BillingPlatform Introduces AI Monetization Offering for Usage-Based Pricing
Denver-based BillingPlatform has launched its AI Monetization offering to help companies manage consumption-based billing for AI products and services, announced in a press release. The new solution is built on the company’s existing usage and consumption billing capabilities and is designed to handle dynamic pricing models such as metered API calls, GPU usage, and tiered access.
The platform includes a native mediation layer that collects and rates usage data in real time, eliminating the need for manual processes or external integrations. It supports a range of pricing models including token billing, subscriptions, and performance-based pricing. BillingPlatform states that companies can deploy new AI pricing models in under 30 days through low-code configuration.
Additional features include support for hybrid pricing combinations, real-time processing of millions of usage events per hour, and built-in compliance with global tax and revenue recognition standards. The company says the new offering is aimed at helping AI-driven businesses align revenue capture with rapidly evolving usage patterns.
