Beroe Adds Total Value and Suitability Tools to Its AI Negotiation Platform
Beroe Inc. has launched two new capabilities for its AI negotiation platform, nnamu, announced in a press release. The new features, called the Total Value of Ownership (TVO) Configurator and Suitability Diagnostics, are designed to help procurement teams make more comprehensive sourcing decisions.
The TVO Configurator enables users to create a complete Total Value of Ownership model that includes non-price elements such as service levels and contractual terms. It converts these factors into monetary values for negotiations, allowing teams to compare supplier proposals based on total value rather than price alone. According to Beroe, teams using this feature have seen average savings of 15 percent compared with 6 to 9 percent from traditional price-only negotiations.
The Suitability Diagnostics tool assists procurement teams in determining the most appropriate negotiation type for a given sourcing event. It uses Beroe’s market intelligence and nnamu data to generate a suitability score across five factors, including supplier landscape and price stability. The tool then ranks negotiation types with guidance on implementation and associated risks.
Beroe stated that these additions are part of its broader plan to build toward autonomous negotiation systems that guide teams through strategy selection and contract award. Further enhancements to nnamu’s negotiation capabilities are currently in development.
