Barrett Expands UNIT AI Warehouse Platform Deployment
Barrett Distribution Centers announced in a press release an expanded partnership with UNIT AI to deploy its Networked Physical AI Platform. The rollout will begin across Barrett's warehouse network in 2027.
The platform will connect inventory, fulfillment and returns across multiple locations. Its initial functions include distributed inventory placement, fulfillment coordination, network wide inventory visibility and decentralized returns processing.
UNIT AI will provide the platform through a warehouse service model that lets Barrett add and scale AI powered robotics without large upfront costs. The companies previously worked together on warehouse automation within individual facilities.
