Axya Raises C$17 Million for AI Procurement Platform

Axya raised C$17 million in Series A funding to expand its AI procurement platform, team and international operations.

Axya raised C$17 million in a Series A round led by McRock Capital, the company said in a press release. Yamaha Motor Ventures, the Business Development Bank of Canada's Industrial Innovation Venture Fund and Real Ventures also participated.

Axya provides an AI procurement platform for manufacturers in aerospace, defense, machinery, vehicles and natural resources. It connects with ERP systems from SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Infor, Epicor and Sage to automate data normalization, detect supply risks and identify potential savings while retaining human oversight. Customers include MDA Space and GE Aerospace.

The funding will support product development, hiring across sales, customer success and engineering, and expansion in North America and other markets. Axya also plans to broaden its ERP partnerships and partner programs.
