AVEVA and IFS Partner on AI for Continuous Asset Decision Intelligence

May 19, 2026
AVEVA and IFS have announced a technology partnership to connect operational intelligence with enterprise execution, enabling industrial companies to turn real-time asset data into faster, evidence-based decisions.

AVEVA and IFS have announced a technology partnership to connect operational intelligence with enterprise execution, according to a press release. The collaboration introduces Continuous Asset Decision Intelligence, a solution that uses real time operational and asset data to support maintenance, investment, and execution decisions across the asset lifecycle.

The joint system combines operational and engineering intelligence with strategic capital planning. It enables industrial organizations to move from isolated data sets to a unified decision flow where teams can determine whether to repair, defer, or replace assets based on evidence. This connection aims to reduce delays between insight and action by integrating sensor data, maintenance history, crew availability, and investment priorities.

Through the partnership, customers are expected to gain improvements in capital efficiency, reliability, and regulatory confidence. The integrated approach provides an auditable chain from asset condition to decision outcomes and simplifies IT and operational technology integration by replacing point-to-point connections with a shared architecture.

The new system was previewed at AVEVA World in Milan, where attendees could see live demonstrations of Continuous Asset Decision Intelligence in the CONNECT Innovation Zone. A global webinar will follow for those unable to attend in person.
