
Avant and Ainnova Explore AI for Early Dementia Detection
Avant Technologies and Ainnova Tech are exploring the integration of early dementia detection into Ainnova's AI-powered platform, Vision AI, announced in a press release. The companies are considering licensing or acquiring a patented technology that uses AI algorithms and a 5-minute blood test for early dementia detection.
Currently, Vision AI employs an automated retinal imaging device to assess risks for cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, liver fibrosis, and chronic kidney disease. The potential addition of dementia detection aims to enhance the platform's capabilities and expand its global reach in preventative health solutions.
Vinicio Vargas, CEO of Ainnova, highlighted the scalability and accessibility of this solution, emphasizing its potential to support early intervention and targeted treatment strategies for millions of patients worldwide.
