Autonomique Moves AI Robots into Production at F&P Mfg.

June 18, 2026
Autonomique's AI platform is transitioning from pilot testing to full production deployment at F&P Mfg., marking one of the first Physical AI rollouts on a live automotive manufacturing line.

Autonomique is advancing its AI-powered robots from pilot testing to production deployment at F&P Mfg., a Tier 1 automotive supplier in Canada, announced in a press release. This marks one of the first instances of Physical AI systems operating on a live automotive manufacturing line.

The collaboration began in late 2025 with a paid pilot in which a bi-manual wheeled robot performed precision assembly tasks for chassis and suspension components. Following consistent performance, the system is now being integrated into live production and expanded to additional workflows across F&P's facilities.

Autonomique and F&P are developing a strategic partnership to deploy the AI platform across the global manufacturing network of F&P’s parent company, F.tech. The platform uses a Generalist-Specialist architecture that allows robots to perceive, reason, and execute multi-step tasks while adapting to new processes without extensive retraining.

Autonomique’s software is designed to be hardware-agnostic, enabling each deployment to serve as a model for scaling across other tasks and sites. The company is backed by investors including White Star Capital, Garage Capital, iNovia, and Innovobot IRV Fund, as well as robotics operators from Clearpath Robotics and OTTO Motors.
