Autodesk Signs Collaboration Agreement with AWS for Cloud and AI Integration
Autodesk has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services, announced in a press release. The partnership focuses on advancing cloud-based solutions that support customers in designing, building, and operating projects more efficiently.
As part of the agreement, Autodesk products will be available for purchase through AWS Marketplace beginning in the second quarter of Autodesk’s fiscal year. The initial offerings will include Fusion for Product Design and Fusion Manage, allowing customers to streamline procurement and integrate Autodesk purchases with existing AWS billing and private pricing agreements.
The collaboration will also explore ways to use AWS cloud and AI capabilities to enhance Autodesk’s platform. This includes developing solutions that help customers manage complex design and make workflows across various industries. According to Autodesk, the partnership will enable improved performance, agility, and insights throughout the project lifecycle.
Both companies stated that the agreement will extend benefits to customers and partners within the broader AWS ecosystem. Matterport, which integrates its spatial data platform with Autodesk workflows, noted that the collaboration will provide a more unified experience for shared users on AWS.
