Atlas Data Storage Selected to Present at TSMC Technology Symposium
Atlas Data Storage has been selected by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited to present at the 2026 TSMC Technology Symposium, announced in a press release. The event, scheduled for April 22, 2026, includes an Innovation Zone that features companies recognized for developing breakthrough technologies with transformative potential.
Atlas will showcase its CMOS-enabled molecular data preservation platform, which combines semiconductor and biotechnology advances to improve data density, durability, and energy efficiency. The system is designed to address the limitations of conventional storage media in terms of longevity, carbon footprint, and total life cycle cost.
The company’s technology integrates CMOS designs with molecular substrates to enable large-scale parallel control for molecular data storage. Atlas describes its approach as capable of delivering storage density and durability significantly beyond traditional magnetic media, supporting the growing data demands from artificial intelligence, enterprise computing, and scientific research.
