Ascendion Reaches CMMI Level 5 for AI Engineering and Services

Ascendion has been appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 5, the highest tier of the Capability Maturity Model Integration, for both Development and Services in a single integrated assessment, reflecting its disciplined approach to deploying AI in enterprise environments.

Ascendion announced in a press release that it has been appraised at Maturity Level 5, the highest tier of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Multi-Model Version 3.0, for both Development and Services in a single integrated appraisal.

The certification recognizes Ascendion's engineering discipline, which includes deploying AI agents within Fortune 500 enterprise environments. CMMI Level 5 is awarded to organizations that demonstrate quantitative management, statistical process control, and continuous improvement across operations.

The appraisal covered Ascendion's global delivery network of more than 11,000 engineering professionals across six industry sectors and eight technology practices. It also included strategic development, support, and testing functions.

According to the company, the same engineering system supports AI access to care for 39 million Americans and operates over 650 AAVA agents in regulated environments, as well as delivering significant performance gains in financial services projects.
