AppZen has introduced the AP Inbox Service Center, an AI agent-based platform that automates vendor email management for accounts payable teams. The system includes eight prebuilt agents that process tasks such as payment inquiries, bank change requests, and invoice reconciliation.

AppZen has launched its AP Inbox Service Center, a new AI agent-based solution that automates vendor email management for accounts payable teams, announced in a press release. The platform introduces eight prebuilt AI Agents that handle common vendor communication scenarios, turning each inbound email into a trackable and auditable request.

Each agent manages a specific workflow, including payment status responses, bank change verification, duplicate invoice checks, vendor statement reconciliation, W-9 form routing, purchase order compliance validation, invoice hold explanations, and remittance confirmations. The agents interpret emails, cross-check data with enterprise resource planning systems, apply company policies, and take structured actions with full audit trails.

Finance teams can configure and deploy these agents using AppZen's AI Agent Studio without IT involvement. The system allows customization of policies and thresholds, and agents can be tested before activation. According to AppZen, most teams can deploy their first working agent in under 30 minutes.

The AP Inbox Service Center is available now for existing AppZen Inbox customers and can be explored by new users through a guided demo on the company’s website.
