Appier Reports Strong Q1 2025 Financial Results
Appier Group Inc has announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, reporting a 31% increase in revenue on a foreign exchange-neutral basis, according to a press release. The company's revenue reached JPY 9.4 billion, marking a 27% year-over-year increase, fueled by significant growth in Northeast Asia and the US & EMEA regions.
Gross profit for the quarter rose by 26% year-over-year to JPY 4.8 billion, with the FX-neutral gross margin improving to 52.3%. This growth was driven by enhancements in AI-led efficiencies and personalization algorithms. Excluding one-time acquisition costs, Appier's EBITDA grew by 45% year-over-year to JPY 1.1 billion, and operating income nearly tripled to JPY 195 million.
The company also reported a record-low churn rate and a long-term net revenue retention rate of 118.7%, underscoring the stickiness of its AI-native solutions. The integration of AdCreative.ai, acquired towards the end of Q1, is expected to further enhance Appier's product offerings and accelerate innovation in enterprise marketing.
