Anode has emerged from stealth with $9 million in seed funding led by Eclipse to accelerate the deployment of its AI-powered mobile microgrids.

Anode has emerged from stealth with a $9 million seed funding round led by Eclipse, announced in a press release. The funding will be used to accelerate the deployment of Anode's mobile battery energy storage system (mBESS) technology, which offers an alternative to traditional power rental services reliant on generators and fuel delivery.

Anode's AI-powered microgrid solutions are designed to meet the growing electricity demands of large users such as utilities, data centers, and EV/AV fleet operators. The company's vertically integrated model combines purpose-built hardware, proprietary software, and AI services to deliver flexible and high-performance energy solutions.

The emergence of Anode comes at a critical time as electricity consumption in the U.S. is increasing five times faster than historical averages, creating transmission bottlenecks and electricity shortfalls. Anode's technology aims to provide a cost-competitive, grid-independent power solution to address these challenges.
