AiZtech Labs Launches iSelfie BioSignals for Smartphone-Based Patient Assessment
AiZtech Labs announced in a press release the launch of iSelfie BioSignals in the United States healthcare market. The smartphone-based platform uses a standard selfie-camera interaction to detect digital biomarkers from the eye and surrounding skin, helping providers capture clinical signals earlier in intake and triage.
iSelfie BioSignals aims to reduce dependence on equipment-heavy workflows by allowing care teams to generate clinically meaningful measurements using a smartphone. The company stated that the platform has undergone six clinical validations across the United States, Canada, and international markets, involving over 5,000 participants and covering cardiovascular and respiratory applications.
In Saudi Arabia, iSelfie BioSignals received regulatory approval from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority for camera-based measurement of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and calibrated blood pressure. A validation study led by the National Heart Center included more than 1,000 participants. Deployments in Ministry of Health hospital clusters showed workflow time reductions from seven to two minutes and estimated annual savings of 15.3 million SAR (approximately 4.8 million USD).
AiZtech Labs plans to pursue partnerships with healthcare providers and population health organizations to expand the use of iSelfie BioSignals in intake, triage, monitoring, and patient engagement workflows.
