Afriex Adds Global Innovations Bank for Settlement Services

Afriex has partnered with Global Innovations Bank for sponsor and settlement banking services to support its payments API, faster settlement, Global USD Account access, and expanded regulatory coverage.

Afriex has partnered with Global Innovations Bank for sponsor and settlement banking services, announced in a press release. The partnership became effective in Q2 2026 and supports Afriex's B2B PaymentsAPI.

Afriex said the relationship will provide faster settlement across supported payment corridors, Global USD Account access, expanded banking and regulatory coverage, and more operational resilience as transaction volume grows. The company processes more than $600 million in annual payment volume and serves businesses moving money across more than 35 countries.

Afriex said the agreement also supports planned treasury, foreign exchange, and global account capabilities over the next year. Its banking network includes partners in the United States, Nigeria, Kenya, and other markets.
