Affle Acquires AdColony Technology Assets from Digital Turbine
Affle has entered into an asset purchase agreement with Digital Turbine to acquire select AdColony technology assets, according to a press release.
The acquisition includes the AdColony software development kit for Android and iOS, its technology platform, integrations with in-app publishers and mediation platforms, and the AdColony brand name, domain, and associated goodwill. The deal is intended to strengthen Affle’s consumer platform by broadening its SDK reach and publisher connections worldwide.
Digital Turbine stated that the transaction will allow it to concentrate on its core media and distribution platforms and consolidate its technology stack. The companies plan to maintain a commercial partnership that leverages their combined supply, demand, and technology capabilities.
Affle said the integration of AdColony assets will enhance audience intelligence and engagement for advertisers and publishers, supporting the company’s ongoing global expansion strategy.
