Acer Introduces Convertible Googlebook 14 From $899

Acer introduced in a press release the Googlebook 14, a convertible laptop designed for Googlebook OS and Gemini Intelligence. The device supports touch, keyboard, stylus and voice controls, along with Android phone syncing through Continue On and Cast My Apps.

The laptop uses up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor with an NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS. Configurations include up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage, while the battery supports up to 16 hours of web browsing.

Its 14 inch OLED touch display has a 2880 by 1800 resolution, brightness of 500 nits and USI 2.0 stylus support. Hinges that rotate 360 degrees support laptop, tent, stand and tablet modes. Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, Thunderbolt 4, two USB-C ports, a 5 MP camera, a fingerprint reader and a Google Titan-C Security Chip.

The Acer Googlebook 14 will launch in North America and Europe in October 2026, starting at $899 and €1,199 respectively. It will reach Australia in November, starting at A$2,599. Eligible buyers receive 12 months of Google AI Pro and 5 TB of cloud storage.
