Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has invited global partners, investors, and innovators to develop and test new health technologies in the emirate. The initiative was announced in a press release following remarks by Chairman H.E. Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori at the Milken Institute Global Conference.

Al Mansoori described Abu Dhabi as a global testing site for health innovation powered by artificial intelligence. The system integrates data from genotypes, phenotypes, and wearable devices into a unified AI platform used to accelerate drug discovery and evaluate product performance using real world evidence.

He also highlighted the emirate's Unified Medical Operations Command Centre, which uses AI agents to enhance emergency response and healthcare monitoring. The centre functions as the system’s operational brain, enabling continuous data analysis and faster incident detection.

The announcement aligns with Abu Dhabi’s broader strategy to strengthen its health system through technology investment, economic diversification, and the development of predictive and anticipatory healthcare models.
