4Pines adds Acorn AI assistant to C2P fund administration platform

Jul 29, 2026
4Pines Fund Services has released a new version of C2P that gives fund administrators and clients a shared view of tasks, communications, approvals, and reporting. The update also adds Acorn, an AI assistant that answers fund operations questions using connected firm data.

4Pines Fund Services announced in a press release a new version of C2P, its fund administration platform, with a shared operating environment for administrators and clients. The company said rollout to clients began in June 2026, with more capabilities planned over time.

The updated C2P platform moves email requests, tasks, approvals, validation, communications, and reporting into one system. Emails are captured in a shared inbox and converted into structured tasks, with ownership, status, supporting documents, and approvals tracked inside the workflow.

4Pines also added Acorn, a template based AI assistant built into C2P. Acorn uses data from connected financial systems, project history, inbox correspondence, and fund documents to answer questions in plain English about fund status, capital positions, investor capital account details, and project progress.

The platform is designed to connect with existing accounting platforms, general ledger systems, and reporting tools rather than replace them. It supports full outsourcing, co sourcing, and self administered service models.
