2G Energy North America Secures Record Order for Data Center Power Systems
2G Energy North America announced in a press release that it has received the largest order in company history, supporting a major data center project in North America. The confidential customer has commissioned containerized power generation systems in the low triple digit megawatt range, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2026 and continuing over several years.
The project involves a fleet of modular power plants designed for high availability and long term reliability. 2G will also provide on site commissioning services. The systems are intended to meet increasing energy demands from data centers and AI infrastructure as grid capacity and interconnection delays continue to challenge the region.
To support this and future large scale projects, 2G recently expanded production capacity at its headquarters in Heek, Germany. The company stated that this expansion enhances its ability to deliver serially produced containerized systems efficiently across North America and other global markets.
2G Energy operates in more than 50 countries and continues to strengthen its engineering, project execution, and service support capabilities in the United States and Canada.
