ZTE Highlights AI and Network Integration at GSMA M360 LATAM 2026

ZTE presented its approach to integrating AI and network technologies at GSMA M360 LATAM 2026 in Mexico City, detailing deployments across Latin America and advancements in intelligent network solutions.

ZTE Corporation showcased its strategy for integrating artificial intelligence with network technologies at the GSMA M360 LATAM 2026 event in Mexico City, announced in a press release. Chen Zhiping, the company's Chief International Ecosystem Representative, outlined the industrial value of this two-way integration and reviewed ZTE's work in the Latin American market.

ZTE reported that its AI driven network concept embeds intelligent computing into all network layers to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The company said its new 5G BBU hardware increases cell throughput by 20 percent while reducing energy consumption by 38 percent through AI based optimization. Over 37,000 units have been deployed across countries including Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru.

The company also presented its AIR Net intelligent network solution, which enables autonomous operation and maintenance for telecom operators. This system has achieved L4 level certification from the TM Forum and is already in commercial use in several regions.

ZTE continues to expand partnerships in Latin America. It has worked with Millicom in Chile to deploy indoor Qcell systems and with Claro in Brazil to launch the RuralPilot network solution for remote areas. These projects aim to improve regional connectivity through efficient and intelligent network architectures.
