ZenGRC has announced the introduction of an AI assistant designed to perform analyst-grade governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) work, transforming complex tasks into quick reviews, announced in a press release. The AI assistant, set to roll out in September, aims to replace traditional analyst-level work by converting weeks of control evaluations and framework mapping into minutes.

Unlike typical automation scripts, ZenGRC's AI assistant understands intent and context, allowing it to evaluate controls against any framework and produce testable procedures with citations. This innovation is particularly beneficial for mid-market teams, enabling them to deliver enterprise-grade GRC programs without the need for extensive resources.

The assistant is integrated into ZenGRC's platform, offering capabilities such as control mapping, gap analysis, and assessment drafting. It also connects with platforms like Jira, ServiceNow, and Slack, ensuring synchronized GRC data across systems. Current customers will gain access as the rollout progresses, with detailed technical controls available in ZenGRC's AI security white paper.
