Yole Group Highlights RoboSense Active Camera in Humanoid Robot Report
International market research firm Yole Group has spotlighted RoboSense's Active Camera series in its latest publication, the *Humanoid Robots 2026: Market and Technology Trends Report*, announced in a press release. The report identifies industrial applications as the first area expected to drive rapid adoption of humanoid robots, emphasizing multi-sensor fusion as the key factor for performance gains.
Yole Group estimates the humanoid robot market will reach USD 51 billion by 2035, with a compound annual growth rate of 55%. The report cites RoboSense’s “Eyes of Robots” Active Camera (AC1) as an example of how integrating LiDAR, RGB camera, and inertial sensors at the hardware level enables synchronized depth, image, and motion data. This approach is described as offering greater efficiency and reliability for industrial humanoids.
The AC1, introduced earlier in 2025, is part of RoboSense’s AI-ready perception platform for robotics. It replaces traditional stacked sensor configurations with a compact, solid-state design aimed at simplifying system integration and mass production. The report also examines RoboSense’s E-Series digital LiDAR architecture, which uses self-developed SPAD-SoC and VCSEL chips to achieve higher performance and cost efficiency.
RoboSense is listed in the report as one of China’s leading humanoid robotics suppliers, offering both LiDAR and depth vision solutions for developers building next-generation humanoid robots.
