Xcelerate Solutions and Socure are supporting mobile driver's licenses as an accepted form of identification for remote identity verification through Login.gov.

Xcelerate Solutions and Socure are supporting mobile driver's licenses as an accepted form of identification for Login.gov, the companies said in a press release. The integration supports remote identity verification within Socure's FedRAMP Moderate environment.

Login.gov can verify identity information directly from digital credentials issued by states and based on ISO/IEC 18013 standards. The system uses real time identity checks, fraud detection and behavioral analytics while reducing reliance on physical identification documents.

The identity verification process combines biometrics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and digital identity credentials. It is designed to detect fraud and provide access to government services for people using mobile devices.
