WhalesBot Launches EliteMind Robot for AI Education

EliteMind lets elementary and middle school students create AI models and programs, then deploy them on a modular robot for physical testing.

WhalesBot introduced EliteMind, a modular physical AI robot for elementary and middle school students, the company said in a press release. The robot uses the W-Hong large language model and supports voice interaction, intent recognition, visual understanding and physical control.

Students can create AI models and programs through the OceanLevel learning platform, then deploy them on EliteMind for sensing, reasoning and physical testing. OceanLevel also provides courses, programming tools and model training for different age groups.

EliteMind has a lightweight modular design that lets students combine sensors and actuators in different configurations. WhalesBot chief executive Xufeng Fei said the product is intended to help students progress from foundational AI literacy to practical AI skills, hands-on practice and competition.
