VoltServer and Eaton Form Partnership to Advance Digital Electricity Power Systems
VoltServer and Eaton have announced a strategic partnership to advance power distribution infrastructure using Digital Electricity and direct current systems, as stated in a press release. The partnership includes a strategic investment by Eaton in VoltServer and focuses on co-developing hardware and software solutions for data center, commercial, industrial, and utility applications.
The companies plan to combine Eaton's power management portfolio with VoltServer's expertise in fault managed power to create integrated and scalable systems. These systems aim to deliver safe power over longer distances, simplify installations, and reduce deployment costs while improving flexibility and efficiency.
Initial efforts will center on developing intelligent, digitally managed power architectures for environments that require high resiliency and efficiency. VoltServer's Digital Electricity technology will play a central role in the joint solutions, enabling large amounts of power to be delivered safely and efficiently to connected systems.
