Village Raises $9.5 Million to Expand AI Pediatric Care Platform
Village, a Los Angeles based pediatric health platform, announced in a press release that it has raised 9.5 million dollars to build and expand its AI powered system for specialty pediatric care. The funding round was led by Upfront Ventures, with participation from Bling Capital, GTMFund, and Perceptive Ventures.
Village operates a connected platform that unites families, providers, pediatricians, and payers around coordinated care teams for children with developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs. The platform uses AI to streamline communication and coordination among occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, behavioral therapists, and pediatricians.
The company plans to use the new funding to continue its expansion across Southern California and into other states. It will apply a launch model refined through its Los Angeles rollout and supported by national insurance contracts.
