Verana Health Introduces AI Agent Claire for MIPS Data Submissions

Verana Health has released Agent Claire, an artificial intelligence agent designed to assist clinicians with data reporting for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), announced in a press release. The tool aims to simplify the submission process, reduce compliance risks, and improve reporting efficiency.

Agent Claire is integrated into the Quality Measures Dashboard used by qualifying members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's IRIS Registry. The system unifies clinical data to help users meet MIPS requirements and maintain accuracy while keeping pace with frequent regulatory updates.

According to Verana Health, the AI agent draws on the company’s experience in MIPS compliance support to guide medical practices in submitting accurate data and monitoring performance thresholds. The company plans to expand the agent’s capabilities across its suite of software applications for life sciences organizations.

Verana Health will host a webinar titled “From Rescue to Resilience: Boost Efficiency and Compliance in MIPS Submissions” on May 14 to provide further details about Agent Claire and its use in clinical workflows.
