Veracode Finds AI Code Security Pass Rate Rises to 62%

Oct 29, 2026
Veracode reports that the average security pass rate for AI generated code rose from 56% to 62%, while the vulnerability rate fell to 38%. Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6-Sol led the tested models with pass rates of 73%.

Veracode said in a press release that the average security pass rate for AI generated code rose from 56% to 62% in its October 2026 analysis. The share of tasks that produced vulnerable code fell from 44% to 38%.

Veracode tested 18 models across Python, C#, JavaScript and Java. Claude Opus 5.5 from Anthropic and GPT-6-Sol from OpenAI shared first place with security pass rates of 73%, above the previous high of 68% recorded by GPT-5.5 in July 2026.

Most of the overall improvement came from cross site scripting tests, where the pass rate reached 18%. Cryptography remained at 87%, SQL injection at 84% and log injection at 13%. Java recorded a 31% pass rate, compared with 64% for Python, 60% for C# and 57% for JavaScript.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
