Vedder Engages AIQA Global for Independent AI Governance Assessment

Vedder has selected AIQA Global to perform an independent assessment of its enterprise AI governance program using the AIQ score methodology, announced in a press release. Vedder is the first law firm to adopt AIQA Global's standardized rating framework for evaluating AI governance quality.

The AIQ score provides a structured evaluation of how organizations manage and govern their use of artificial intelligence. It is based on a 250 factor methodology that assesses five dimensions of governance, including strategic alignment, technical robustness, compliance, and education. Scores are reported on a scale from 0 to 200, modeled on established ratings systems.

AIQA Global's assessment enables organizations to demonstrate governance quality without disclosing proprietary model details or training data. The evaluation is aligned with frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC 42001.

Through this engagement, AIQA Global will benchmark Vedder's AI governance program, identify areas for improvement, and set a schedule for ongoing assurance as the firm expands its AI enabled client services.
