Vaidio has launched Vaidio City, a next-generation AI platform aimed at enhancing urban traffic management and public safety, announced in a press release. The platform leverages existing camera infrastructure to provide intelligent traffic optimization and safety tools, reducing the need for costly hardware upgrades.

Vaidio City is notable for its ability to analyze traffic light states using camera data from multiple angles, offering detailed insights into traffic patterns. This capability allows urban planners to make informed decisions on infrastructure investments and resource allocation. The platform also includes features for incident detection, such as identifying crashes and red-light violations, and offers real-time alerts and visual heatmaps for immediate response to critical events.

The City of Dubuque, Iowa, has already implemented Vaidio's AI Vision platform in collaboration with Milestone Systems, integrating it with their existing video management software. This integration provides Dubuque with real-time insights into traffic patterns and incidents, enabling dynamic traffic signal adjustments and improving overall traffic flow and safety.
