Twindo has raised €1 million to enhance its field operations platform for renewable energy, with plans to expand into solar energy.

Twindo has raised €1 million in a funding round led by Volve Capital, with participation from Rockstart Energy Fund and other investors. The funding will support Twindo's expansion into new renewable energy verticals beyond wind energy, as well as strengthen its AI capabilities. Founded in 2022, Twindo has become a key platform for field operations and digital inspections in the wind energy sector across Benelux and the UK.

The company plans to extend its offerings to include utility-scale solar field operations, leveraging its established workflows and automation frameworks. Twindo's platform is designed to enhance efficiency for technicians and field managers by providing actionable insights and reducing asset downtime. The company aims to empower field teams in the energy transition, ensuring high-quality work with fewer safety incidents.

Twindo's team, with experience from companies like Siemens and Fairwind, is focused on becoming the infrastructure layer for renewable energy field performance. The recent funding will help Twindo continue its mission to improve efficiency and support the global energy transition.
