Tripo AI Releases P2.0 for Editable 3D Asset Generation

Sep 22, 2026
Tripo P2.0 generates 3D assets with native quad topology and adds tools for creating multiple versions and editing selected mesh regions.

Tripo AI announced in a press release the official release of Tripo P2.0, a 3D native foundation model that generates assets with native quad topology. The model updates Tripo Smart Mesh P1.0 with multiple version generation and a Mesh Edit tool that regenerates selected mesh regions while preserving the rest of an asset.

P2.0 supports triangle based assets with up to 50,000 faces and quad based assets with up to 25,000 faces. A single prompt can produce as many as four versions with different face counts.

The model provides front, back, left, and right views. It also includes Smart UV for one click UV unwrapping and supports assets such as game characters, vehicles, props, and buildings.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
