Tether Invests in AIsa for AI Agent Payments
Tether Capital, the investment arm of Tether, announced an investment on October 15 in AIsa, a platform that lets AI agents purchase access to data, software, models, APIs, and computing services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Developers can connect agents to more than 5,000 APIs, skills, and models through one interface. Charges can be settled in fiat or stablecoins based on usage, while businesses can set spending limits.
AIsa reports more than 250,000 agents on its platform and over 100 million processed transactions. The service lets agents retrieve paid resources without requiring a separate account, subscription, or vendor contract for each provider.
