TestMu AI Introduces Kane CLI for Browser Automation
TestMu AI announced in a press release the launch of Kane CLI, a browser automation tool that runs directly from the terminal. The tool is designed for both human developers and AI coding agents to verify browser-based workflows without manual testing.
Kane CLI enables users to describe application flows and receive pass or fail results with detailed step traces and screenshots. It supports intent-based browser control, Playwright export, automated bug discovery, and dynamic waiting based on on-screen elements. The tool also includes two-way script migration between Playwright and Selenium, remote test management, and integration with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
The command line interface includes three modes: an interactive terminal UI for live sessions, a headless mode for automated runs, and an agent mode that outputs structured data for AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. Kane CLI can be installed via npm or Homebrew and is available for free with optional paid plans offering cloud features.
As part of the launch, TestMu AI is offering bonus credits for the first three months to teams that activate a paid plan during the introductory period.
