The research groups vendors into three categories: Market Anchors, Market Movers, and Market Builders. Market Anchors include major platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Workday. Market Movers feature vendors like Atlassian, IBM, Okta, and Stripe, while Market Builders highlight emerging players such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Palantir, and ThoughtSpot.

The report outlines six key trends shaping the AI-driven enterprise landscape. These include the rise of “AI washing,” the growing dominance of data platforms, incumbents defending their systems of record, the convergence of software and services, the importance of vertical specialization, and an uptick in mergers and acquisitions across the listed ecosystems. Tercera notes that more than 40 acquisitions have occurred among the featured companies, signaling an active consolidation phase in enterprise technology.
