Tenstorrent and Razer Reveal Compact AI Accelerator for Edge Computing at CES 2026

Tenstorrent unveiled a compact AI accelerator device developed with Razer at CES 2026, designed to bring generative AI capabilities to Thunderbolt-equipped laptops for mobile and scalable edge AI development.

At CES 2026, Tenstorrent unveiled its first-generation compact AI accelerator device developed in partnership with Razer, announced in a press release. The modular device connects via Thunderbolt 4 or 5 and enables portable generative AI and machine learning development on standard laptops.

The accelerator uses Tenstorrent’s Wormhole technology to provide scalable performance for multi-chip development. It supports running large language models, image generation, and various AI/ML workloads through Tenstorrent’s open-source software stack.

Designed for flexibility, the compact form factor allows developers to daisy chain up to four units to increase computing power. This setup transforms a laptop into a local AI workstation suitable for experimentation and small-scale deployment.

The device is on display at CES 2026 in Tenstorrent’s suite at the Venetian (Zeno 4702) and at Razer’s booth in the Venetian Ballrooms (Bellini 2101–2102). Pricing and availability details will be announced later.
