Tecsys Launches AI-Powered TecsysIQ for Healthcare Supply Chains

Tecsys Inc. has introduced TecsysIQ, a cloud-native intelligence layer aimed at enhancing AI-powered insights in healthcare supply chains, announced in a press release. Built on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, TecsysIQ is designed to unify fragmented data across clinical, operational, and financial systems, facilitating AI-enabled applications and data-driven decision-making.

TecsysIQ addresses the complexity of healthcare supply chains by integrating data from various systems such as EHRs, ERPs, and inventory systems into a single, governed environment. This integration allows for improved forecasting, planning, and response, ultimately enhancing patient care and health system performance.

The platform supports federated lakehouse architectures for data discovery, querying, and governance, and simplifies data sharing across platforms with Delta Sharing. Additionally, TecsysIQ leverages AWS Bedrock to provide secure access to large language models for generative AI use cases.

With embedded machine learning and predictive intelligence, TecsysIQ enables healthcare organizations to automate data harmonization, incorporate third-party data for better forecasting, and optimize resource utilization while maintaining compliance and patient safety. Tecsys is currently working with healthcare providers for early access, with general availability planned for later this year.
