Tata Elxsi and Sky have expanded their collaboration to accelerate autonomous network transformation using Tata Elxsi’s NEURON platform portfolio, announced in a press release.

The partnership focuses on modernizing network provisioning, cross domain inventory, and operations to improve service agility and support automation across Sky’s communications infrastructure. The NEURON platform integrates telco cloud lifecycle automation, digital network engineering, and service aware inventory tools to streamline operations and enhance reliability.

According to Tata Elxsi, the deployment has already delivered measurable results for Sky, including up to 30 percent improvement in operational efficiency, 60 to 70 percent cost efficiencies, and a reduction in network change lead times by up to half. The system also aims to reduce failure rates by up to 30 percent by embedding automation across key processes.

Sky’s Group Director of Networks stated that NEURON is helping to transform network operations by improving visibility, simplifying processes, and accelerating service delivery. Tata Elxsi’s CTO added that the platform combines AI driven automation with network intelligence to support a scalable move toward autonomous operations.
