Steno Raises $49 Million Series C to Expand AI-Powered Litigation Platform
Steno has raised $49 million in a Series C funding round led by Savano Capital Partners, with participation from First Round Capital, The Legal Tech Fund, and other investors, announced in a press release. The funds will support Steno’s expansion into new markets and the development of the next version of its AI-powered litigation tools.
The company plans to triple its investment in technology and operations, focusing on growing its presence within the AmLaw 200. Steno’s platform is used by thousands of law firms each month for court reporting and litigation support services.
According to Steno CEO Greg Hong, the funding will enable the release of an upgraded version of Transcript Genius, the company’s AI transcript analysis tool. The company also operates Steno Connect for remote litigation and a marketplace for court reporting professionals.
Rothschild & Co acted as financial advisor and Cooley LLP as legal counsel for the transaction.
