Spotify Rolls Out Taste Profile Beta to US Premium Listeners
Spotify announced on its website that it is rolling out Taste Profile in beta to Premium listeners age 18 or older in the US. The feature was initially tested in New Zealand, where it remains available to eligible subscribers.
Taste Profile shows Spotify's summary of a listener's interests across music, podcasts, and audiobooks. Users can add notes asking for more or less of certain genres, topics, moods, or other content, which then shape recommendations on the Home feed.
Eligible listeners can find Taste Profile through their profile picture in the Spotify mobile app. Changes typically appear within a few hours, and users can edit or delete their notes at any time.
