Facebook Adds Natural Language Controls for Feed Algorithm
Meta introduced an AI powered Facebook feature called Your Algorithm on Tuesday, according to TechCrunch. The tool lets users describe in natural language which topics and content they want to see more or less often in Feed and Reels.
Users can revise their preferences, with changes reflected in recommendations in real time. Facebook may ask follow up questions to gather more detailed feedback about why a user liked or disliked particular content.
Facebook also updated its three dot menu to provide access to Your Algorithm and the Interested and Not interested controls from individual posts. Meta previously introduced Your Algorithm on Instagram and offers a related feature called Dear Algo on Threads.
