Speediance Expands Into AI Fitness With AEVIS App
Speediance is expanding from smart home gym equipment into AI based fitness, the company announced in a press release. Its hardware portfolio now includes Gym Monster Ultra, Gym Monster 3, Gym Nano and Speediance Strap for strength training, home workouts, performance measurement and physiological tracking.
The company is developing three AI capabilities. Votus analyzes movement from phone video, Oryn provides training and recovery guidance using activity, nutrition and sleep data, and Somni explores potential changes in fatigue, sleep, appetite and training capacity.
These tools connect through AEVIS, an iOS app available in public beta across 105 markets. The app can use Apple Watch health and activity data without Speediance hardware, while Gym Monster users can create custom workouts and send them to their equipment. AEVIS cannot yet adjust Gym Monster resistance automatically, though Speediance plans deeper integration.
Speediance says AEVIS and its AI features provide general fitness and wellness information rather than medical guidance. Somni is a technology preview and is not a medical tool.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
