Sofia University Launches Doctor of Machine Learning Program
On October 7, Sofia University announced in a press release a Doctor of Machine Learning program. The 72 quarter hour professional doctorate covers machine learning mathematics, algorithms, artificial intelligence, data science, engineering, research and emerging technologies.
The program will be available online and in hybrid formats, with independent study options. Students taking two courses per quarter can finish in about three years, while those taking three courses per quarter can finish in about two and a half years.
Students will complete work integrated learning and a final capstone project. Applicants must hold a master's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, information technology, applied mathematics or engineering.
