SignSplit emerged from stealth with a $400 million strategic seed round from W Group, valuing the company at $1 billion. Its platform lets people and institutions license data, work and likeness for use by AI companies, researchers and media platforms.

SignSplit emerged from stealth with a $400 million strategic seed round secured with W Group, valuing the company at $1 billion, as it announced in a press release. The financing commitment combines capital with a multi year package of resources for the company's global rollout.

SignSplit lets people and institutions protect, license and contribute their data, work and likeness under defined consent and usage terms. AI and robotics companies, researchers and other organizations can access data and research pools, while contributors receive compensation.

The platform also provides verification information covering the origin, consent and terms associated with content. SignSplit was founded in 2024 and operates as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation.
