Siemens Introduces AI-Driven Questa One for IC Verification

Siemens has unveiled the Questa One smart verification solution, leveraging AI to enhance IC verification productivity, as announced in a press release.

Siemens has introduced the Questa One smart verification solution, which aims to transform the integrated circuit (IC) verification process by incorporating AI-driven automation and predictive analytics. Announced in a press release, Questa One is designed to accelerate verification cycles, reduce manual effort, and boost productivity.

The solution integrates AI-powered automation, predictive analytics, and seamless workflow connectivity to redefine IC verification from a reactive process into an intelligent, self-optimizing system. It supports the largest and most complex designs, from IP to System-on-a-chip (SoC) to Systems, and is developed with advanced 3D-ICs, chiplet-based designs, and software-defined architectures in mind.

Questa One includes several technical breakthroughs, such as Coverage Acceleration software achieving coverage goals 50 times faster than traditional methods, and DFT Simulation Acceleration software providing 8 times faster gate-level design for test simulations. Additionally, the Fault Simulation Acceleration software offers 48 times faster performance, supporting both functional safety and DFT fault simulation applications.

The solution is built on three core principles: connected verification, data-driven verification, and scalable verification. These principles enable comprehensive and seamless verification, validation, and testing across Siemens' verification systems, leveraging AI-powered analytics to improve productivity and deliver the fastest verification closure with the highest confidence.

Siemens AG plans to make the Questa One smart verification solution available in June 2025, further advancing the semiconductor and electronic systems industry.
