Sharpa Introduces D01 Robot, W02 Hand and AE01 Data Glove

Sharpa introduced its D01 robot, W02 dexterous hand and AE01 data glove at IROS 2026, the company said in a press release.

D01 combines dexterous hands, seven degree of freedom arms and whole body electronic skin. It has an arm payload to weight ratio of about 1:1, end effector speeds above 10.5 meters per second, 1,000 Hz communication and repeatability of 0.2 millimeters.

W02 has 21 active degrees of freedom, weighs less than 750 grams and includes tactile sensing across its fingertips and palm. It supports zero gap grasping and has IP54 protection.

AE01 has 22 degrees of freedom and 22 encoders for motion capture. Each fingertip provides 256 levels of dynamic vibration feedback, while fingertip position repeatability is less than 1 millimeter without additional user calibration. The glove supports teleoperation and the collection of demonstrations for robot learning.
