SenseTime MEA and King Saud University Launch Joint AI Innovation Center in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s SenseTime MEA and King Saud University have signed an agreement to create a joint AI Innovation Center in Riyadh, announced in a press release. The center will serve as a platform for developing AI use cases and research across multiple sectors, including health, energy, entertainment, logistics, smart cities, and environmental monitoring.
SenseTime MEA is also building a GPU cluster to provide computing capacity for the center, supporting teaching, learning, and talent development. The collaboration will integrate AI-assisted teaching and analytics into courses while connecting students and researchers with live, sector-aligned projects.
The initiative aims to strengthen AI research and education in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the country’s Vision 2030 goals by enhancing local technological capabilities and competitiveness.
