Sectra Provides Cloud-Based Imaging Solution to US Health System
Sectra has signed a five-year contract to supply a multi-site US health system with its enterprise imaging solution as a cloud service, known as Sectra One Cloud, and its AI service, Sectra Amplifier Service, announced in a press release. This fully managed cloud service aims to enhance the health system's security, scalability, and workflow efficiency across radiology, breast imaging, and cardiology departments.
The integration of Sectra's services will consolidate multiple systems into a single solution, streamlining data and image sharing, which is expected to improve patient care pathways. The Sectra Amplifier Service allows for the integration of third-party AI applications into clinical workflows, running on a unified infrastructure to reduce security risks and IT burdens.
The health system, which performs approximately 700,000 imaging exams annually, will initially use the modules for radiology, breast imaging, cardiology, and AI applications for radiology, breast imaging, and orthopaedics. Sectra's solution is designed to provide a unified strategy for all imaging needs, improving outcomes and lowering operational costs.
