Schneider Electric Launches AI Ecosystem for Energy Management
Schneider Electric has announced a multi-year initiative to develop an AI-native ecosystem for sustainability and energy management, announced in a press release. This initiative will leverage Agentic AI technology to create a collaborative intelligence system that integrates with human experts and enterprise systems.
The new ecosystem aims to transform energy and sustainability management by embedding AI agents into adaptive workflows. These agents are designed to work independently or collaboratively, anticipating needs and adapting to complex environments in real time. This approach is expected to simplify and automate sustainability efforts, optimizing outcomes and driving sustainable impact.
Julien Picaud has been appointed as Head of Product Management to lead this initiative. The project will incorporate features from Schneider Electric's recent acquisition of EcoAct, focusing on areas such as decarbonization strategy, emissions management, and energy management. The initiative builds on Schneider Electric's extensive experience in AI innovation and sustainability management.
